Time to Break Out the Breathing Machine Again

We were pretty sure that the little guy had filled his quota of respiratory infections for one kid for one season, but he has proved us wrong by joining the ranks of everyone else we know getting sick because of the crazy Texas weather. Garrett started getting sick on Thursday. After we left the doctor that morning, he had been given two breathing treatments (after we had already given him one before heading to the doctor), an oral steriod, and immoxicilian for an ear infection. To say he was "wired for sound" (as they say in West Texas) is an understatement. His lungs were definitely more open, and he felt much better. We're still doing the treatments every four hours, so hopefully it will all be gone in a day or so. He's already been a sweet son and shared it with me. We're praying Jeff can escape this round without getting it, too. If not, we may have to turn Garrett's breathing machine into a family one.
