I finally got April and May updated on our smugmug site. I also posted a few pics here that I haven't already posted in the last couple of months. You can see the rest of them by clicking here...April 2009 and May 2009, and yes, there are a lot of them!
To kick off the spring with a bang, we took the little guy to our church's Spring Loaded Festival they have every year. This was our first year to go, and Garrett had a great time! He played on inflatables, road a horse, petted a bunch of poor unsuspecting animals, and did the Easter egg hunt. I don't think I'll ever forget the egg hunt. We quickly realized he didn't grasp the concept when we saw him walking around picking up eggs and putting them in another little boy's basket. Even this highly competitive woman had to admit that it was the sweetest thing to watch!

Mommy's little cowboy...just melts a Mommy's heart doesn't it?!?
Who knew an Elmo Easter basket could make him look like a little Russian?!? He kept doing that over and over just to see how hard he could make Mommy laugh and still attempt to keep driving in Houston traffic!
If you enlarge this picture, you can see that he and the boat and the garage are all covered in syrupy, sticky drops! He was playing in the boat one day and stumbled upon an unopened coke can that had been brewing in the Texas heat for just the right moment when a little boy decided to shake it and then drop it so hard that it exploded to the point of becoming a massive spewing machine!
The next few pics are some of my all time favs of him. ALL BOY!
I can't forget to mention that Daddy's 31st bday was in May! Happy Birthday, Daddy! Instead of gifts for each other on the last few holidays, we've been getting each other cute and fun stuff for our little girl. These were the things we thought Daddy might like for his princess to wear soon!
