The "Squeeze Play" area at Minute Maid Park is always a hit with Garrett before the Astros game starts.
One of my favorite games was in August. Being a huge sports fan, I'm sad to say that I can't tell you who the Astros were playing or who actually even won. It wasn't my favorite game because of the game itself but because of the kids in the stands enjoying the game and the whole baseball game experience being so much fun.
Nannie started the game out right with Garrett by bringing him a huge bag of "Munchies". This was his appetizer before the baseball food to follow.
Sister partook of some of Brother's appetizers, too.
They then of course needed something to wash down their treat. Who knew a straw in a bottle of water could be such a source of entertainment to a one-year-old little girl who cared not the least about the baseball game being played right in front of her. It also provided lots of entertainment to those around us. There were a lot of people in the seats around us who couldn't tell you much about those few innings either.
While she had every one's attention, she decided that she might as well keep them entertained some more by making cutes faces at them.
The best part to this Mommy was when G and G started playing together, and yes, him sitting on her and no crying being involved is considered playing by these two.
Brother moved past tickling Sister to sharing his popcorn with her. He was really gentle, but we're also still glad she doesn't have a ton of teeth, yet!
Saying "thank you" with a kiss is only the polite thing to do. Could I love these two any more?
Was there really a baseball game going on that night? I'll have to ask Jeff. Oh, wait, he was missing the game, too, and didn't mind at all!
