Space Exploration with Cousins

Garrett and Grace have lots of people in their lives who they dearly love. One person in particular, they really love. I mean really love. That person is their Cousin Allison. Her mom (Renee) and I are second cousins and have been more like sisters as we've gotten older and had kids. We love that our kids are close and get to see each other a lot. They're two peas in a pod when they're together. Garrett becomes Alli's shadow!



The Meadors decided to head to Houston for part of their summer vacation in August. The kids had never been to NASA, so off we headed with our future astronauts!



















Not only was Allison super patient with Garrett the whole day with him being so much younger than her and wanting to follow her everywhere, Grace was also patient with everyone. While the big kids did their thing at one point, she was content to hang out with Renee in the food area. She didn't waste time though. She practiced her rocket launching and worked on her engineering skills by assembling and disassembling these two bottles. Preparation for her future in space engineering.
