Baby CJ Webster is Here!!!

Today has been an amazing day! Why, you may ask! One reason...Baby CJ Webster is here!!! He's here and he's perfect! Perfectly precious, perfectly adorable, and perfectly made by God who I know had as much fun as everyone else today welcoming that little guy! I also know God loved watching CJ meet his new Mama and Daddy, who both are over the moon excited to meet their new son!

We got a call yesterday afternoon saying that our friends, Cas and Gina, were headed to the Med Center because they were pretty sure Gina was starting to go into labor with her sweet little boy. After a few hours of monitoring and tests, they said she was at a 1.5 but could go on home because CJ wasn't making his appearance quite yet. About 11:00, Gina started having really strong contractions. They kept coming throughout the night, so an expecting Mama and Daddy headed up to a scheduled drs appointment first thing this morning. The doctor said she was still at a 1.5 but needed to be admitted to the hospital again. Within an hour or so, Gina went to a 4. When I walked out of the parking garage at the hospital just a few hours after that, Cas texted saying she was at a 9. CJ was ready to see his Mama and Daddy and wasn't wasting anytime! Gina did awesome during the delivery, and her sweet baby boy was born at 3:47 pm, measuring 17 inches long and weighing 4 pounds and 15 ounces! He's a tiny guy but so incredibly healthy! I talked to Gina a few minutes ago, and she said the pediatrician had been by to see him and had nothing but great things to say. The doctor said he's healthy and strong, just a tiny little guy. A tiny guy who is such a miracle and a gift! We are so unbelievably glad you're here, CJ Webster!
