If you've read this blog even once or twice, you know the Wright's do a lot of good ol' plain fishing of fish...

One of the things I love the most about my man is that he's as passionate about fishing for fish as he is about fishing for men. He serves with a heart like none I know (snuck that one too from his birthday post!). One thing he and I have been blessed to be able to do most of the summers since we got married is to serve together with our church for something called "HOUSTON PROJECT". It's a week long inner-city mission trip to our own city. The best part to me is that it is the clearest picture of the body of Christ to me. It's believers coming together with all their different giftings to love and serve. You'll have people serving in Vacation Bible School or with the youth, others serving with a prayer or evangelism team, and then others serving with transportation or food. So many parts of the Body coming together for one purpose. Love it!
In case you need an illustration in pictures, here you go. When we take our kiddos to the park fishing for fishies, we each have a gift to reach our goal. Jeff is the teacher of the future fisherman (and fisherwoman). Garrett is currently the student and catcher.
I'm the avid encourager and memory capturer with the camera. Grace is the observer, cheerleader, and lately the bread (bait) consumer.
