New Christmas Tradition

I had been hoping to do something special this year with the kids to celebrate the advent season, something that could become a tradition each year as they get older. Some women in our Sunday school class came up with the idea to make ornaments for an Advent Jesse Tree. Since there are 25 different ornaments, and some of them take lots of creativity, Mariana was brilliant to suggest that each person take one ornament and make 25 of them. We then had dinner and exchanged our ornaments. Viola! Each person walked away with a full set of ornaments and didn't have to come up with a creative way to make 25 different ones. The idea was perfect!

Tonight was the first night. The kids were so excited! Garrett had helped me wrap up and number each ornament today and place them under the tree, so...
